Vents
Our aluminum vents are fabricated from .063 aluminum sheet with .125 extruded aluminum angle providing the internal supports and bracing. The ends of the roof on our vents are formed in such a manner to improve airflow. Screening is standard and available options range from painted finishes to permanent filters installed for clean room applications. The vents are offered in both intake or relief models and with the exception of units too large to fit in a truck trailer, they are shipped fully assembled.

AVI (Intake)
Our intake vents are designed with a larger free area ratio to reduce the velocities of the air flow at the point of intake. This lower velocity insures moisture and debris does not enter into the airstream within the vent. In all instances the free area is at least twice the throat area and in smaller units the free area is greater than three times the free area.
AVR (Relief)
Our relief vents are sized to insure the free area surrounding the throat is at least equal to the throat square footage and in the case of smaller units, the free area is twice the square footage of the throat area.
